Capaldi Racing Finishes Strong at VIR
After a strong showing at the season-opening races at the Homestead Miami Speedway, Capaldi Racing came to VIR looking for good results. The team’s momentum from Homestead continued into Saturday’s qualifying, where Tony Buffomante and earned pole position in the #34 Capaldi Racing Mustang FR500S. Behind the wheel of the #22 Capaldi Racing FR500S, Steve Phillips also had a strong qualifying session, earning a spot in the top 10 with the 9th fastest time.

Capaldi Racing Upgrades with a New, Bigger Shop
Capaldi Racing recently completed the move to a new, 12,000 square foot shop in Chesterfield, MI, (about 30 minutes northeast of Detroit). The new shop gives them more room to maintain the #22 Mustang FR500S of Steve Phillips, the #34 Mustang FR500S of Tony Buffomante, and the #19 Mustang FR500C of Steve Phillips and Brad Adams, as well as providing the space required to take on new projects. Also maintained under their new roof is the #68 Capaldi Racing NASA American Iron 2005 Mustang GT along with a small fleet of NASA Spec Focus race cars.
